For teams who have done enough workshops
First the doing. Then the talking.
Half a day outside with your team, followed by an hour working out what just happened. For groups of 4 to 50.
2.5 hours · 4 to 50 people · Outdoors, near you
Heidag is Dutch for an away day, the day a team leaves the office to think. We take it outside.

Why this works
Why a game gets further than a workshop
You watch yourselves work
For an hour nobody is managing how they come across. Who takes charge, who goes quiet, who decides when the clock runs down. This time everyone is watching.
Everybody saw the same thing
Conversations about teamwork go nowhere while everyone is picturing a different example. After the challenge you all have the same one.
Theory comes last, if at all
No model on a flip chart to open with. It kills the room, and you have sat through them all before.
The day
How the day runs
Without the closing, about two and a half hours. With lunch or dinner it becomes a half or full day. We tailor the length to you.
20 min
Arrival
Coffee, teams sorted, five minutes of briefing. One phone per team. Nothing to install.
75 min
The challenge
Outside, in teams, moving between real places. The app points the way and sets the tasks.
15 min
Break
Back indoors, something to drink, the scores go up.
55 min
The debrief
Chairs in a circle, going through what happened. You leave with three agreements in your own words.
optional
Closing
Want to make a longer day of it, we can close with a shared lunch or dinner. No obligation, only if it suits you.
The themes
Six themes, six stories
Each one is a separate route with its own story. You run one per day.

Questions
Questions
How many people does this work for?
From 4 up to 50. With larger groups you split the debrief so everyone gets a word in, and that is the whole point of the afternoon.
How long does it take?
About two and a half hours: 75 minutes outside, a short break, 55 minutes of debrief. We can build it into a half or full day with lunch.
Is this training?
No. Nobody stands at the front with a model. You play first, and afterwards you work out together what happened while you did.
What does it cost?
Price depends on group size and venue. Ask for a proposal and you'll have a figure back within two working days.
