The Missing Voice
HeyDay Industries is about to launch a new product. During the project meetings, everyone appeared to support the plan.
Shortly before the launch, the product is found to have a serious flaw. Several people had already noticed parts of the problem, but their information never reached the decision-makers. A junior employee did not feel able to speak up, a remote colleague missed important conversations and user feedback was overlooked.
The teams must recover the missing perspectives and discover why apparent agreement does not necessarily mean that every voice has been heard.
Practical
- Length
- 75 minutes outside, plus the debrief. Two and a half hours all in.
- Group size
- 4 to 50 people, in teams of 4 to 6.
- What you need
- One phone per team, shoes you can walk in, and a room for the debrief.
